Selle Italia also takes a scientific approach to its products. In collaboration with the European ErgoView laboratory, the brand has developed a veritable nomenclature enabling everyone to identify their ideal saddle size. This expertise has been made possible by the use of advanced digital instruments and tools, and by studies gathering a vast amount of morphological data.

The 6 saddle variants offered by the brand are divided into 2 sizes: S for models with a seat between 131 and 136 mm, and L for seats between 145 and 150 mm. You can also select the width of the openwork center channel (Flow and SuperFlow technology) or opt for a full saddle, depending on the degree of rotation of your pelvis.

The number 1 indicates the absence of an open center channel. These saddles are designed for people without significant pelvic rotation and who therefore don't necessarily need to reduce the pressure exerted on the perineum.

Models marked "2" feature a small central opening (Flow technology). They are ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation, and considerably reduce pressure on the saddle surface.

SuperFlow S3 and L3 saddles feature a wide, open-worked center channel, designed for cyclists with a high degree of pelvic rotation. By considerably reducing pressure, these models offer exceptional comfort in all positions.
