Description
The result of BURGTEC's constant pursuit of excellence for its riders is the Penthouse Flat MK5 bike pedals. Tested with numerous shoes and based on the MK4, they reduce weight by 65g and improve grip with a 7% larger surface area, a 1mm deeper cavity and a 0.5mm reduction in pin diameter.
They feature an oversized CNC-machined 7075 aluminium platform that is very thin, with a steel axle on cartridge bearings, offering intensive and robust use along with optimal grip. They thus provide an extended service life with reduced maintenance over time.
The 15mm thickness will considerably reduce contact with obstacles encountered on the trail. The 8 replaceable steel pins on each face of the body — 16 pins per pedal — guarantee excellent contact and maximum grip with the shoe in all conditions.
