Description

Designed for Cross-Country and All Mountain use, Trail and Enduro, the Chainring RACE FACE Oval Narrow Wide Direct MountThe shape of the Wide Direct Mount helps eliminate the dead center position when pedaling, for smooth, fluid movement.

It is designed with Cinchtechnology, which allows the sprocket to be mounted directly on the crankset axle, and facilitates equipment changes with other compatible parts.

Made from T6 heat-treated 7075 aluminum for added strength and durability, this Chainring features aNarrow Wide, which, thanks to its half-square teeth, ensures maximum chain retention, eliminating the need for a chain guide.

EXCELLENT

"A good product with excellent craftsmanship, as is often the case with Race Face"

Not exactly obvious, but!

"I bought this chainring after trying an oval chainring on a friend's bike. Since I switch bikes regularly (bike 2 has a round chainring), I've noticed a difference. It’s easier and requires less effort; it makes standing up on the pedals easier on very steep sections; the rear wheel tends to lose traction less often, and traction is much better. In everyday riding and when using the oval chainring all the time, you notice these effects less."
