Made up of three layers, the Grand Prix 5000 is designed to balance performance, grip and durability without compromising on comfort. For exceptional road handling, the tyre is built with Lazer Grip technology. This set of small structures on the side of the tyre provides maximum grip even when leaning on wet roads. For optimal performance, Continental has reworked its Black Chili technology. 

In terms of puncture resistance, the GP 5000 uses the Vectran Breaker, which is made with synthetic fibres that make your tyre highly resistant to punctures while keeping weight under control.
