The TOPEAK SmartGauge D2X is the evolution of Topeak's celebrated digital pressure gauge. More compact, faster and even more precise, it is designed to measure tyre pressure (Road, MTB, FatBike) as well as that of pneumatic forks and shock absorbers.
Its large backlit LCD screen rotates 180°, allowing a perfect reading regardless of the valve orientation or wheel configuration. It is the essential tool for Tubeless and modern MTB riders, where a variation of just 0.1 bar can radically transform the behaviour of the bike.
Is it easy to switch from Presta to Schrader? Completely. There is nothing to screw or flip. The SmartHead® head detects the valve type and connects with an instant airtight seal.
Can I use it on my car or motorbike? Absolutely. As it is Schrader compatible and can handle very high pressures, it is perfect for checking tyre pressure on cars, motorbikes or even trailers.
What is the bleed button for? It's its best feature. You inflate your tyre slightly above the target pressure with your pump, connect the D2X, and press the button to release air gradually until you reach exactly the desired value (e.g. 1.25 bar).

"Si le produit est précis et efficace pour les grosses valves, il est très difficile de l'utiliser avec les valves Presta : il faut plusieurs tentatives pour réussir à positionner l'embout et chaque essai fait perdre de la pression. Au final, c'est inutilisable avec ce type de valve car si le but était d'avoir une mesure précise, elle le sera mais après avoir perdu beaucoup de pression ! Déçu."
