Description
FINISH LINE HALO™ Hot Wax lubricant represents the pinnacle of chain lubrication technology. Unlike conventional oils, this hot immersion treatment envelops every internal chain component in a high-performance wax bath. As it cools, the wax forms a solid shield that drastically reduces friction and completely repels dirt.
Thanks to its advanced formulation incorporating precision graphite and cutting-edge additives, HALO™ Hot Wax offers incomparable pedaling smoothness and impressive operating silence. It's the preferred choice for road racers, triathletes and off-road enthusiasts who demand a drivetrain that stays clean to the touch, ride after ride.
Is it necessary to degrease the chain before the first application? Yes, this is the crucial step. For the wax to adhere, the chain must be perfectly new or thoroughly degreased (no trace of oil left). Use a powerful degreaser like Finish Line Speed Degreaser.
How do I melt the wax? Use a slow-cooking appliance (such as a slow cooker) or a dedicated double boiler. Never expose wax to a direct flame.
How long should I leave the chain in the bath? Leave the chain in the molten wax for about 10 to 15 minutes, shaking it from time to time to expel air bubbles and allow the product to penetrate.
Can I add liquid wax between two baths? Yes, you can use HALO™ Wax drip lubricant to extend the interval between two full immersions.

Points forts
Maximum Friction Reduction: Optimizes energy efficiency to save every watt possible.
Absolutely clean: Dry wax doesn't trap dust or sand, leaving your chain shiny and clean to the touch.
Increased longevity: Reduces premature chain, cassette and chainring wear by eliminating the "honing" effect of greasy lubricants.
Total protection: Immersion ensures that the lubricant penetrates to the heart of the rollers and axles, where wear occurs.
Resistance to the elements: Provides long-lasting protection against moisture and external contaminants.
