Description

The FOX 40 FACTORY 29" Grip X2 Fork embodies the highest level of downhill performance, designed for DH competition and extreme enduro. It combines a fully optimised chassis and cutting-edge hydraulics to deliver maximum control, great precision and consistent stability on the most demanding terrain. The use of Generative Design allows for a structure that is stiffer in torsion and better suited to the demands of 29" wheels, boosting confidence when riding at high speed.

The GRIP X2 cartridge, replacing the Grip 2, is a major evolution. It offers ultra-precise 4-way high and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments, providing an unprecedented level of personalisation. With an increase in base valve diameter to 24 mm, it delivers superior support and increased sensitivity. Riders sit higher in the travel whilst keeping their tyres planted on the ground, improving cornering grip, traction and fatigue reduction over long distances.

The chassis incorporates Air Channels that increase the volume of the fork legs to limit pressure build-up and improve absorption of small impacts. The tool-free bleeders make pressure equalisation easy to maintain consistent performance. The 20 mm floating axle system ensures perfect alignment between the stanchions, reducing friction and improving overall sensitivity.

Finally, the Factory version benefits from the Kashima Coat treatment, guaranteeing exceptional smoothness and reduced friction. Combined with the GlideCore air spring with increased negative volume and MCU bump stop, the fork gains in responsiveness and comfort. The result is an ultra-smooth, precise and high-performing suspension, built to push the limits on descents and in competition.
