The FOX 40 FACTORY 29" Grip X2 Fork embodies the highest level of downhill performance, designed for DH racing and extreme enduro. It combines a fully optimized chassis with state-of-the-art hydraulics to deliver maximum control, precision and consistent stability on the most demanding terrain. The use of Generative Design results in a torsionally stiffer structure better adapted to the constraints of 29" wheels, enhancing riding confidence at high speeds.

The GRIP X2 cartridge, replacing the Grip 2, represents a major evolution. It offers ultra-precise 4-way settings for high and low-speed compression and rebound, providing an unprecedented level of customization. With the base valve diameter increased to 24 mm, it delivers superior support and increased sensitivity. Riders ride higher in travel while keeping tires glued to the ground, improving cornering grip, traction and reducing fatigue over the long haul.

The chassis incorporates Air Channels that increase the volume of the fork arms to limit pressure build-up and improve absorption of small shocks. Tool-free bleeders facilitate pressure equalization to maintain consistent performance. The20 mm floating axle system ensures perfect alignment between forks, reducing friction and improving overall sensitivity.

Finally, the Factory version benefits from the Kashima Coat treatment, guaranteeing exceptional glide and reduced friction. Combined with the GlideCore air spring with increased negative volume and MCU buffer, the fork gains in responsiveness and comfort.
