The HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 brake represents the pinnacle of technology and British craftsmanship. Designed to deliver a perfect feel and absolute control, it represents the ultimate evolution of the famous Tech 4 system. Entirely machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, it combines precision, power and reliability to meet the demands of the most extreme disciplines, particularly downhill and e-bike.
The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from significant improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide ring and three new levers. These developments deliver smooth and customisable control of braking power. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring smooth and consistent action, whilst the adjustment dials allow the reach and bite point to be finely tuned to the rider's preferences.
The GR4 calliper, Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm), is machined in a single piece for increased rigidity and controlled weight. Its four hybrid pistons — two of 17 mm and two of 18 mm — guarantee maximum power and optimal thermal management. This model offers 6% more power compared to the Tech 4 V4, whilst retaining exemplary progressiveness. Ideal for gravity riding and e-bikes, it remains incompatible with ventilated discs.
Supplied with three types of pads (Racing, All Conditions, and E-Bike), the HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 adapts to all disciplines. With its aviation hose of 2 m, its 14 colour combinations and its highly refined design, it establishes itself as the absolute reference in high-end braking for the most demanding riders.
