The HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 brake embodies the pinnacle of technology and British craftsmanship. Designed to deliver a perfect feel and absolute control, it represents the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 system. Entirely machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, it combines precision, power and reliability to meet the demands of the most extreme disciplines, particularly downhill and e-bike.

The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from significant improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide ring and three new levers. These developments offer smooth and customisable control of braking power. The lever pivot rests on two ball bearings, ensuring smooth and consistent action, whilst the adjustment dials allow the reach and bite point to be finely tuned to the rider's preferences.

The GR4 calliper, Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm), is machined as a single unit for increased rigidity and controlled weight. Its four hybrid pistons — two of 17 mm and two of 18 mm — guarantee maximum power and optimal heat management. This model delivers 6% more power than the Tech 4 V4, whilst retaining exemplary progressiveness. Ideal for gravity riding and e-bikes, it remains incompatible with ventilated discs.

Supplied with three types of pads (Racing, All Conditions, and E-Bike), the HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 adapts to all disciplines. With its 2 m hose, its 14 colour combinations and its highly refined design, it stands as the absolute reference in high-end braking for the most demanding riders.
