The Wolf Tooth MKØ ISHeadset is a precision headset designed specifically for modern road and gravel bikes where integration is pushed to the limit. This model is designed for frames using the IS (Integrated Standard) with cable ducts running directly through the bearings for a totally "invisible" cockpit.
Machined in the Wolf Tooth workshop in the USA, it doesn't just hide the cables: it protects your steering. Where original headsets are often the weak point of integrated bikes, the MKØ brings exceptional durability thanks to its top-of-the-range bearings and reinforced sealing.
Is it compatible with my frame? MKØ is compatible with most modern frames using 52 mm (1.5") bearings at the top and bottom and a standard fork steerer tube. Be sure to check your manufacturer's specifications (systems such as FSA ACR, Deda DCR or similar).
Won't the cables wear against the bearings? No, the internal compression ring is specifically hollowed out to allow the sheaths to pass through without friction, protecting both your cables and the smoothness of your steering.
What tools are needed for maintenance? A set of standard Allen keys is all you need for adjustment. However, as with any integrated system, we recommend that you have the cables run by a professional to ensure optimum operation of the brakes and derailleurs.
