Description
The HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 PM brake is the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 master cylinder, designed to deliver a perfect feel and total control of braking power. Machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, the TECH 4 EVO master cylinder integrates a new piston, an optimised floating head, a redesigned cam, a second guide ring and three new levers, guaranteeing precise and personalised control for every rider. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, providing smooth and durable action, whilst the adjustment dials allow bite point and reach to be set according to individual preferences.
The X2 calliper, in Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm bolt spacing), is monobloc machined for increased rigidity and reduced weight. Its two 22 mm phenolic resin pistons (reference HBSP235) deliver power suited to lighter applications such as downcountry and XC, whilst maintaining excellent performance at high temperatures. This configuration allows for precise modulation and control, ideal for long rides and varied terrain.
The standard 5 mm diameter, 2 m long hose ensures simple and reliable installation. The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for maximum performance and All Conditions (red) for versatile use, making it easy to adapt to each riding style and terrain conditions.
