Description

Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the tire MAXXIS Assegai 29x2,60" 3C Maxx Terra Exo takes its name from a spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. It's the perfect weapon for fighting mountains.

It features high studs for great traction and support on dry and wet terrain, as well as root and rocky terrain. The 3C Maxx Grip rubber combines three different compounds: a hard compound for the base of the studs to ensure rigidity when deforming them and maintain a precise fit; a soft compound for the central studs to optimize their deformation when braking, pedaling and negotiating obstacles; and a very soft compound for the sidewall studs for maximum grip when cornering.

In this version Tubeless Ready which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tire is also equipped with an Exo carcass on the sidewalls, for enhanced protection against abrasion and tearing.
