Description

The FORMULA Cura 4 brake is an evolution of the Cura model: even more powerful, it’s perfect for high-intensity DH/Enduro riding!

This Cura 4 brake incorporates some of the strengths seen in the original Cura, such as the axial design of the master cylinder. The ergonomic lever is made of forged aluminum. It offers a secure grip and effective performance, with excellent feel and modulation. The layout of the reservoir and the hydraulic line inlet also simplify the bleeding of the fluid (mineral oil).

The two-piece forged and anodized aluminum caliper features four 18-mm pistons, providing an optimized contact surface on the rotor, which delivers exceptional braking power. 

The Cura 4 Kashima benefits from Formula’s extensive experience with Miyaki’s renowned Kashima Coat® treatment, which has been proven over many years on high-end suspension components. Applied to the master cylinder piston at their factory in Japan, this exclusive finish reduces friction, resulting in an even lighter, smoother, and more consistent lever feel under all conditions.
