The SHIMANO SLX M7100 rear brake offers consistent braking performance and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The SLX M7100 caliper caliper delivers light, high-performance braking with reliable stopping power in all conditions, ideal for the Cross-Country or Trail.

Quick piston return and banjo connection with internal cable routing make assembly quick and easy. The SLX BL-M7100 lever lever offers intuitive modulation to explore your limits with confidence. Its optimized lever axis position and refined ergonomics ensure smooth, linear braking, increasing the rider's concentration and pleasure.

The brake is 10% stiffer than the M7000, even in high-temperature conditions, and engages faster thanks to a shorter stroke. The technology I-SPEC EV technology enables easy, tool-free installation and adjustment, offering optimized configuration for the action and adaptability to the user.

A good brake

"Good brakes, but they need a little break-in to build up braking power. A quick bleed is needed during installation; I lost a little oil when I removed the yellow cap from the lever. One small downside: no installation manual—even on Shimano’s website, the file is empty. As for the I-Spec EV mount, you don’t mention or sell any accessories needed to install the shifter!!!"
