The Renthal Apex V2stem represents the ultimate evolution of the mountain stem. Designed to meet the demands of today's increasingly capable and fast bikes, it retains the patented 240° clamping design for which it is renowned, while pushing the limits of stiffness and precision.

What's new on the V2?

The V2 version isn't just a cosmetic update, it's been redesigned for the new standards of mountain biking:

Increased stiffness: the V2 body has been widened and strengthened to match modern forks with large plungers (38 mm). It offers more stable steering in the roughest sections.

New geometry: The angle is reduced from +/- 6° on the classic version to +/- 5° on the V2, offering more precise height adjustment for today's frame geometries.

Optimized machining: Thanks to even more complex CNC machining, the V2 gains in robustness without shedding an ounce, boasting a sharper finish and even sharper edges.

Why choose the V2 if I already have the old version? If you're riding a recent bike with a rigid fork (such as the Fox 38 or RockShox Zeb) or a VTTAE (E-Bike), the V2's superior lateral rigidity will give you much better guidance in fast corners and when leaning.

Is it compatible with all the lengths of the old version? Yes, Renthal offers the V2 in a wide range of lengths, so that every rider can keep his or her usual position while benefiting from the structural improvements.

Does the assembly remain the same? Absolutely. We still slide the clamps through the thinner parts of the handlebars and apply the "Zero Gap" tightening on the lower bolts before adjusting the torque on the upper bolts.
