Description

The ROCKSHOX Monarch Plus RC3 Debon Air shock absorber 2017 offers lightness and volume. The new DebonAir system integrates two chambers, positive and negative, on the periphery of the main body. As a result, this shock offers greater volume and better linearity. The shock absorber is more reactive on small shocks, and more comfortable on big ones.

Perfect for All Mountain andEnduroThis model is flexible and benefits from Rapid Recovery technology, which allows good recovery of the available travel on successive compressions, thus improving ground clearance. Air pressure is easily adjusted via a simple Schrader valve.

Shock absorber broke down after a week at the bike park

"I bought this shock two weeks ago. Suddenly, the shock stopped working after a few days. The shock compresses and rebounds extremely slowly (several minutes). Shock set to 200 psi and 30% sag, rebound at 3 clicks. In short, the product is defective and my week at the resort is ruined..."

Mr. Dem (1/5)

I'm not so sure

"I have my doubts—the shock is a Monarch, and the widely reported issues are true!!! The 3-position adjustment isn’t really useful… in fact, you only use 2 of them depending on the pressure… and the selector has some concerning play that could affect the shock’s lifespan, but it does the job we need it to do."

Kenoby (3/5)

Awesome!

"I bought this shock absorber six months ago and it has never let me down. It's very good and easy to adjust. Plus, if you don't like the white trim kit, a black one is included."

Dylan M. (5/5)

Smooth upgrade

"A great shock absorber to replace a Fox Van. You have to take your time with the adjustments—'tokens are essential.' Very smooth and comfortable; it doesn't lose traction even when the going gets rough. Unbeatable value for the price."

Ben-C (4/5)

A big improvement in comfort

"Replaced a Moustach JUST CARBON shock on my e-MTB. Much better in terms of comfort and handling. It absorbs small bumps well and doesn't bottom out on climbs thanks to the 3-position adjustment. A dream on the descents."

Yade (5/5)

Perfect

"Installed on an RR 540S to replace the original one—it’s obviously like night and day."

Noish (5/5)

A piece of cake!

"I replaced the Monarch RT that came standard on the Zesty 527 Carbon, which was worn out. The difference is remarkable. It absorbs small bumps well; it feels like riding on velvet. For big bumps, I set it to 3 tokens and about 35% sag."

Crazyhorse (5/5)

Easy to adjust and reliable

"Replacing an inline DB that was constantly malfunctioning, the RockShox does the job well on my Trailfox TF01 29"""

Toforange03 (4/5)

Great shock absorber, excellent value for money

"With it mounted on my Yeti 575, it feels like I have a brand-new bike!!! It handles great—the rear wheel stays firmly planted on the ground, whether I'm accelerating or braking on the descent. It's perfect!"

Bmu! (5/5)

Top-notch cushioning

"The product met my expectations. No complaints! Just be mindful of the factory settings (L/M, M/M, etc.)—some bikes perform better with a specific setting."
