ERGON SM E-Mountain Sport S/M Women CrMo Rails Saddle

The ERGON SM E-Mountain Sport saddle for women is a comfortable model offered by the German brand, suitable for touring rides on an e-MTB. It is available here in size S/M, suitable for female riders whose sit bone width ranges from 9 to 12 cm.

The ergonomics engineers at the German brand took on board the feedback frequently expressed by female mountain bikers to design a saddle adapted to their anatomy and to the typical riding position used on e-bikes.

To reduce pressure on the genital area, which is the primary cause of discomfort on a bike for women, this saddle is widely open at the centre to relieve the most sensitive areas. The fairly wide nose describes a large V shape from the rear of the saddle, offering a wide support area around this opening. It is also raised at the rear for great stability on climbs.

This saddle stands out with its central decompression channel, hollowed out and perforated to maximally relieve the perineal area by transferring loads onto the sit bones and pubic arch. Most notably, it uses a soft and comfortable orthopaedic foam padding accompanied by OrthoCell® inserts to reduce vibrations.

In this Sport version, the SM saddle is built around a nylon shell mounted on robust chromoly rails. It is also covered with a microfibre finish.
