Description

The SCHWALBE Rocket Ron tyre is an ultralight model offering incredible grip. It is paired with an Addix Speed rubber compound characterised by extremely low rolling resistance.

Particularly effective when used as a front tyre, its profile features large, well-spaced knobs to guarantee low rolling resistance and excellent self-cleaning. It can be combined with the Racing Ralph at the rear for the ultimate weapon in Cross-Country.

The Super Ground model combines lightness and stability. Comfortable on all terrains, it adapts easily to trails, long rides and any type of surface. In addition, it delivers a balanced compromise between puncture protection and easy rolling.

In this Tubeless Ready version, the Rocket Ron combines a 67 TPI casing — a fair compromise between lightness and robustness — and a SnakeSkin coating that is highly protective against cuts and sidewall punctures.

SCHWALBE ROCKET RON 27.5X2.10 Super Ground Ad tire

"Good value for money but still sensitive to pinching"

Tourist (3/5)

Very good XC tire

"Back after 4 years of experience with this tire. I've been using it front and rear for quite some time on a 2. 25 XC full-suspension mountain bike with 120mm of travel. I decided to go for the 2. 1 and what a performance. Light tire, good performance uphill, on asphalt, in rolling sections. Good grip on descents. Tested on all types of terrain, from dry, easy single XC to loose, rocky trails, and even on very brittle, steep sections for Enduro/Dh type XC with ramps, scree slopes and small jumps. It goes everywhere and grips well even on wet terrain. It's true that it's small in size in a 2.1, which can be surprising, but if you've got the technique, it goes everywhere easily, you just have to be clean in the trajectories. Great riding with a Thunder Burt at the rear. Easy tubeless fitting with a foot pump after 24 hours on an inner tube (1st tubeless fitting on my own), knowing that I'm very bad at mechanics."

Solidity now at its best!

"Excellent tubeless set-up. Smooth, grippy and light. What else?"
