Reviews

Great tires for gravel riding

"Disc brakes mounted on a gravel bike on the second set of wheels. No noticeable difference from the other discs I've used, but they do the job very well. No sense of power loss on descents. A slight noise during the break-in period, then nothing. Big advantage: you can use both organic and metal pads!"

Ratus (5/5)

great albums

"I've ridden 4,000 km with these rotors on a gravel bike using organic pads, even in wet conditions, without any issues—especially on the road. Plus, there's no visible wear on the rotors. Braking is smooth and easy to modulate. I’m satisfied with these rotors. They brake better than rim brakes, especially in the rain."

Jean (5/5)

Excellent braking

"After testing them on a single ride, I noticed a real, noticeable difference in braking performance compared to my old, lower-end Shimano rotors. The bite is much better, even though I haven't changed the pads as recommended. It's very reassuring. Plus, with the right tool, they’re easy to install."

Elcondor (5/5)

Does not fit on a 15x110 front axle

"The nut sold with the disc is not compatible with a 15x110 axle (Shimano XT front wheel) You need to buy another Centerlock nut with a larger bore and the corresponding wrench. For the rear (Shimano XT wheel) in 12x148, no problem—with a second nut having a larger bore, the rating would have been 5."

Lebolide (4/5)

Okay, but

"Install them on the front. It's probably a very good rotor, but maybe not for the XT M 8000 dual-piston calipers. Well, let’s just say the pads don’t cover the entire braking surface with these pads. After 200 km of off-road riding with resin pads, I’m not blown away by the bite. Still, it does stop. We’ll see how it goes with other pads. . Brake. If it performs better."

Durable disks

"I've had these rotors on my cyclocross bike for a year now; I use it on the road with DT SWISS 1600 Dicut wheels paired with Shimano 105 R7000 calipers and Shimano LO3A or KO2 Titanium pads. Recently, both rotors have developed warping after heavy use in mid-mountain terrain with steep, winding descents, following 3,500 km of use over the course of just under a year. Should I replace them, since braking performance has decreased recently despite having replaced the front and rear pads? Thank you."

Pyc4369 (5/5)

Very high quality

"Installed on a DT Swiss Tricon, the quality is excellent, installation is quick, and there’s virtually no break-in period. The disc comes with a locknut. It builds up power after just a few miles, and the modulation is perfect for my use with my SLX brakes."

Tomgx (5/5)

A great album

"Good value for the money. I have it mounted on the front of my trail/enduro mountain bike in 203 size with ceramic pads; it doesn't get very hot on long rides, but I haven't tested it in a bike park yet. Otherwise, the braking performance is excellent—I'm really satisfied."

Mtbdukes (4/5)

More than a hundred pounds to lift . . . . .

"Easy to install with the right caliper, works almost immediately (quick break-in), significant improvement in braking performance (bike + rider >100 kg!!) Shipping and value for money: as good as ever at Probike."

Ritton (4/5)

Perfect

"An excellent machined disc (not stamped like the entry-level models), with three laminated steel/aluminum layers, ensuring good temperature control. It has a slight wobble right out of the box, but it’s easy to correct."
