This brake features Vari-Cushion technology, for ergonomic support and grip. The Ultra-Shift system allows you to change up to 3 sprockets at a time on the way up, and up to 5 on the way down, thus avoiding gear-shifting errors. The Reach Adjustment lets you adjust the lever guard to suit the size of your hands, and the AMS Adjustment lets the user select two different braking power modulation settings, all very useful functions.
The carbon fiber brake levers feature a unidirectional fiber layout to ensure aesthetic uniformity with other Groupets components.the various Campagnolo brake calipers have been designed to be fitted in combination with the disc chosen by the user to always ensure top-level performance: in fact, it's possible to choose between the caliper with a 140 (reserved for cyclists weighing no more than 82 kg) or 160 mm diameter disc.
Last but not least, particular attention has also been paid to facilitating maintenance and fitting operations: the Brake Pads have a wear indicator and replacement is made easier by the absence of springs. The disc's entry into the caliper has been carefully designed to facilitate and speed up wheel changing, and is intended for use with the electrified CAMPAGNOLO EPS Groupesets.
