Description
TOPEAK 's PrepStand T3X workshop stand is the ultimate solution for mechanics working on high-end bikes, ultra-light carbon frames or time trial bikes. Unlike clamp-type stands, which can crush fragile seatposts, the T3X supports the bike at its strongest point: the bottom bracket.
Its design allows the bike to be rotated through 360 degrees with a simple gesture, ideal for switching from transmission adjustment to brake cleaning without moving a muscle. Its oversized aluminum structure offers perfect rigidity while remaining light enough to be transported to race areas or events.
Is it compatible with bikes with disc brakes? Absolutely. The kit includes all the necessary adapters for the various standards of modern thru axles used on road and mountain bikes with disc brakes.
Is it stable for dismantling a seized crankset? Yes. As the bike rests directly on its center of gravity (the bottom bracket), you can apply much more lateral force than on a conventional clamp foot without the risk of tipping the assembly.
Is it possible to adjust the position of the bike (more or less forward)? Yes, the support rail is sliding, so you can balance the bike perfectly according to its weight and the area you're working on.
Does this damage the underside of the frame? No, the cradle is made of high-density rubber, designed to absorb vibrations and protect the paintwork from rubbing.

Points forts
Frame protection: No clamping on tubes or seatpost. Perfect for aerodynamic frames and carbon.
Full rotation: The support arm swivels horizontally through 360°, allowing full access to every corner of the bike.
Maximum stability: Wide tripod base with non-slip feet for safe working, even with 25 kg bicycles.
Height-adjustable: the central column allows working height to be adjusted between 80 cm and 163 cm for optimum ergonomics.
Easy to transport: folds up compactly to fit in a car boot or store discreetly in a garage corner.
